Déjà Vu — an Interactive Digital Narrative

This project was created for EMDD 630: Interactive Digital Narratives (IDN). Using Twine, I was asked to “design a narrative that engages your audience through meaningful choices, immersive elements, and compelling storytelling.” I began by creating a moodboard and developing narrative beats. Then I started building the outline in Twine and writing the script.

Description: Key has always had a normal life. She goes through life on autopilot, and likes it that way. However, when she is suddenly killed by an unknown figure and wakes up a year before her death, she has the chance to not only catch the would-be culprit, but also finally become an active participant in her own life. Re-examining her personal relationships with family and friends, she discovers what goes missing when you take your life for granted.
